Textile Design BSc
Bachelor of Textile Engineering.
It includes the definition of the field of textile engineering, the number and titles of the courses, introducing the courses and orientations of master and doctoral degrees of textile engineering, employment opportunities and market labor of textile engineering.
Introducing Bachelor of Textile Engineering
The textile industry has a very long history, and its beginning may go back to the first time a man has made clothes for himself. Over the years, with the increase in population the need for clothing production became an industrial need. There were experts in this area to be trained after the establishment of a variety of factories. Thus, the field of textile engineering was established in the universities.
Textile industry products are also used in various fields, including car brake manufacturing, road construction, aircraft production, etc.
The textile industry comprises of a number of sectors including spinning, weaving, cloth weaving, carpet weaving, as well as complementary factories such as dyeing, printing and textile production plants such as nylon and poly propylene.
Textile engineering students are learning the skills to work and manage various sectors of the textile industry. The field of textile engineering has the specialties of textile engineering, textile engineering technology, fiber engineering, textile chemistry engineering.
The Specialty of Clothing Engineering
The need for clothing professionals is very much felt today, when the manufacturing of clothes has become industrialized and large factories of manufactures have been set up. The clothing orientation expert should be able to design the clothing production lines and determine how to sew and connect the clothes. In determining the timing and design of the production line, each type of clothing should act as no devices remain out of use at any time. He has to set the number of necessary and available devices to fix each piece of clothing to make maximum use of the machines.
Students of this field must be strong in math, physics and mechanics, and have good analytical and managerial ability.
The Specialty of Textile Chemistry Engineering and Fiber Engineering
The student of textile chemistry and fiber science studies production of fibers, fiber properties, dyes, dye properties and the way to complete the textile materials. In fact, fiber preparation and application of chemicals in textile industries is introduced. In other words, the field of textile chemistry describes the chemical operation of textile industry.
Activities such as fiber production, dyeing or complementary operations that are carried out on the types of textiles, including cotton, textiles, etc. to prepare and use them.
The Specialty of Textile Technology Engineering
The textile technology student studies how to produce yarn, fiber, carpet, and moquette and learns about the design of textile machinery and various components. They also get familiar with the spinning techniques of fiber, weaving, and with mechanical science to understand the textile machines.
To learn more about us for a better job after graduating, further information includes: curriculum and number of credits, universities with textile engineering, introduction of master’s and doctoral degree of textile engineering (in order to continue studying at higher education levels) and introducing job opportunities and employment opportunities in this field.
Note: The curriculum of the courses is merely a general introduction to the contents of the curricula, and there is a possibility of slight changes.
